Based on our data there is a relationship between soil chemistry levels and worm count.  Whenever potassium, nitrogen, and phosphate levels are at higher levels are more likely to be present.  In our background research we found that soil with worms has higher potassium levels.  Our data also suggests that trend, as for nitrogen and phosphate there doesn’t seem to be a trend as worms are found in high amounts with both high and low levels of phosphate and nitrogen.
